This weekend I’ll be exhibiting my wares (no, not those wares, the drawing kind) at Stumptown Comics Fest 2009.

The show is this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 6:00 on April 18th and 19th. It takes place at the Lloyd Center Double Tree Hotel (who doesn’t love the Double Tree?), 1000 NE Multnomah, Portland OR

What is Stumptown Comics Fest? Well, I’m glad you asked!

It’s $6 for admission, a bargain even in these recessionary times!

There are tons of cool artists showing up, too, like Farel Dalrymple, Craig Thompson, Marjane Satrapi, Jeff Smith, and tons of others.

Anyway, I’m debuting two of my comic books there (Act 1 of “The Min” and the just completed “Mr. Popularity”) as well as debuting my series “Oh Snap! The Hazards of Portland.” I’ll have buttons, original art to flip through, sketchbooks AND my button machine. Who doesn’t like button machines?

Those who can make it, I hope to see you there.

XOXOXO!
Derek
